PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY
An Isle of Man public limited company is any company that is not a private limited company. A public limited company’s name should end with the words “public limited company” or the abbreviation “P.L.C.”.

A private limited company means a company whose:
  1. Articles of Association prohibits any invitation to the public to subscribe for any shares or debentures of a company; and
  2. Memorandum of Association includes a statement that the company is a “private company”.
An Isle of Man public limited company has no minimum share capital requirements.
